Kiefer Sutherland – British-Canadien Cowboy with a Javelin

Everybody knows the story about actor Kiefer Sutherland who recently broke the nose of a fashion designer Jack McCollough at the Mercer Hotel. The star of the TV show is already in trouble. He was already arrested twice on DUI and served 48 consecutive days in jail. Here is some more trivia of Kiefer’s life:

• He has Canadian and British citizenship as he was born in London in 1966 while his Canadian parents worked there as actors
• He is a well-known collector of javelins and wanted to participate in the Olympic Games at the time of his youth. He is also a collector of many guitars.
• He was engaged to Julia Roberts who left him 3 days before the wedding when she found that he was also dating a stripper Amanda Rice.
• In the end of the 90s Kiefer temporarily dropped his acting career and traded it for rodeo circuit. He even participated in roping contests, in which he won in Phoenix and Albuquerque.

Jessica Simpson – Yoko Romo of Dallas Cowboys

It’s been the seventh year since Jessic Simpson proclaimed that she was a virgin when she was marrying Nich Lachey in October 2002. But even before her divorce was finalized in 2006, former virgin was changing boyfriends like gloves. It seems that she does not bring luck to them, especially the last one of the list – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. It got so bad, that some Cowboys fans started calling her Yoko Romo, hinting that Jessica is ruining Tony’s life and career.

Michael Madsen – Actor, Poet and Photographer

American actor Michael Madsen has been playing tough guys in Hollywood movies for many years. But not so many people know that he is also an accomplished American poet and photographer. Michael started writing poetry many years ago between his time working on movie sets and traveling around the world. He was putting down his verses on anything he could find – napkins, match books and hotel stationery.
The result of his efforts – were published as poetic books and over the years achieved international recognition. Subsequently the book of his photographs from his world travels was released in 2006. It is dedicated to the memory of his late friend actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean Penn.

Keanu Reeves – Fan of Hotels and Rented Rooms

Chateau Marmont located in Hollywood, California is a popular place among rock stars and actors.  One of its well known residents was a famous actor Keanu Reeves who was residing in this hotel for more than a decade.  He already rose to stardom and definitely had money to buy his own real estate. But for reasons unknown even after Matrix movie has been shot, Keanu still remained a long term resident at the hotel.   Actor purchased his very first house only in 2003 in Hollywood Hills. And obviously he  liked the feeling of being a home owner as very soon he bought  an apartment in New York City.

Tom Hanks – Eastern Orthodox Christian

During the shooting of a movie Terminal actor Tom Hanks needed some wording to imitate fictional Eastern European Krakozhian language. His second wife actress and producer Rita Wilson quickly solved the problem.  She was born as Margarita Ibrahimova and has Bulgarian origin, so it was not difficult for her to coach her husband extensively in her native language.  He learned lots of words and phrases which he brilliantly used in the film. By the way, for those who don’t know, when actor was marying Rita he converted from Roman Catholicism to Eastern Orthodox Christianity.

Jessica Alba Does Not Pose in the Nude

We know that popular actress Jessica Alba is not shy and poses in a lot of sexy outfits and skimpy bikinis. However when Playboy magazine published her photo from the movie Into the Blue on its cover in 2006, it was slapped with litigation suit started by the actress.  The photo was a promotional shot. However Alba claimed that it was used wihtout her consent and, its appearance in a magazine which has lots of nude pictures,  can seriously undermine her reputation and image. The sut was dropped after Hue Heffner personally apologized to Jessica and donated undisclosed amounts of money to a couple of charities that actress supported.
